THE SHORT VERSION

  • We use your location to show courts and games near you, and only with your permission. We never show your exact location to other players.
  • We don’t sell your personal information and we don’t show ads.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile › Settings › Delete account) or by emailing [email protected].

This summary is for convenience. The full policy below is what applies.

1. Who we are

Dnysus Corp (“Rallis,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Rallis mobile apps for iOS and Android and the website rallis.club (together, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to everyone who uses the Services.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. It is part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

  • Account information: your name, email address, and the account identifier we receive when you sign in with Apple, Google, or a one-time email code. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose “Hide My Email,” we receive an Apple relay address instead of your real email.
  • Profile information: your handle, profile photo, bio, the sports you play, your self-rated level for each sport (for example NTRP, DUPR, or Playtomic scales), and your home area.
  • Games and activity: games you create or join, including sport, format, level range, court options, start times, duration, notes, visibility setting, and invite lists; the court and time options you choose; crews you create or join; who you follow; scores and results you submit or confirm; and game cancellations.
  • Content you post: chat messages, photos, court suggestions or corrections, and reports you submit about other users or content.
  • Communications with us: messages you send to support and any information you include in them.

2.2 Information we collect automatically

  • Location: if you allow it in your device settings, we collect your device’s precise location while you use the app to show nearby courts and games and to calculate distances. We may also infer your approximate location (such as city) from your IP address. You can turn off location access at any time and set a home area manually instead.
  • Device and usage information: device model, operating system and version, app version, language and time zone settings, IP address, push-notification token, crash reports and diagnostic logs, and information about how you use features (for example, screens viewed and buttons tapped).
  • Cookies on rallis.club: our website uses cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for it to work. We also use Google Analytics, a service from Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the website: which pages are visited, how people arrive, and general device, browser and approximate location information. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this, and only with your consent where the law requires it; you can accept or decline analytics cookies in the cookie banner and change your choice at any time, or use Google’s opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Google’s use of this information is described in its own privacy policy.

2.3 Information from other sources

  • Other users: for example, when someone invites you to a game, adds you to a crew, records a score that includes you, or mentions you in a game chat.
  • Sign-in providers: Apple and Google share basic account information with us (such as your name and email) according to your settings with them.
  • Public sources: court information from public park listings and open map data. This information describes courts, not people.

3. How we use information

  • To provide the Services: create and maintain your account; show feeds of games by location, sport, level, and visibility; tally court-and-time options; lock in games; run game chats; display profiles, results, and photos; and send the notifications you expect (for example, when a game locks, when you’re invited, or when someone messages a game you’ve joined).
  • To keep Rallis safe: verify accounts, detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse, review reports, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect the rights and safety of our users and others.
  • To improve the Services: fix bugs, understand which features are used, and develop new features, such as ratings calculated from confirmed results.
  • To communicate with you: send service messages (security alerts, policy changes, support replies) and, if you opt in, occasional product news. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
  • To meet legal obligations: comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, and establish or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. We do not use your information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases: performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests (such as safety and improving the Services), your consent (such as for precise location), and compliance with legal obligations.

4. How information is shared

4.1 With other players

Rallis is a social app, so some information is visible to others by design:

  • Your profile (name, handle, photo, bio, sports and levels, home area at the neighborhood level, follower and following counts, game history, confirmed results, and game photos) is visible to other users and may appear on your public profile page at rallis.club. We never show your precise location to other users.
  • Games are visible according to the setting the host chooses: Public games to anyone using the Services and anyone with the game link; Followers only games to the host’s followers; Crew games to members of that crew; and Invite only games to the people invited and anyone the host or an invitee shares the private link with.
  • Within a game, participants can see who has joined, which options each player selected, the game chat, and the final result.

Anything you share with other users can be viewed, saved, or reshared by them. Please think before you post.

4.2 With service providers

We use trusted vendors who process information on our behalf, under contracts that restrict how they may use it, for: cloud hosting and databases, file and photo storage, push-notification delivery (including Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging, via Expo), email delivery, maps and geocoding, crash reporting and analytics, and customer support.

4.3 For legal and safety reasons

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that it is reasonably necessary to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or a governmental request; to protect the safety of any person; to address fraud, security, or technical issues; or to protect the rights or property of Rallis or our users.

4.4 Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. The recipient will remain bound by this Privacy Policy unless you are notified otherwise.

4.5 With your consent, and in de-identified form

We may share information when you direct us to (for example, when you share a game link). We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

5. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within 30 days, except that:

  • copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being overwritten;
  • we may keep information we need to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse (for example, to stop banned users from re-registering), or enforce our agreements; and
  • messages you sent in a game chat and results of games you played may remain visible to the other participants, shown as from a “Deleted player.”

6. Your choices and rights

6.1 Controls in the app

  • Edit your profile, sports, and levels at any time.
  • Choose the visibility of each game you host, and block other users.
  • Manage location access and push notifications in your device settings.
  • Delete your account in the app under Profile › Settings › Delete account, on the web at rallis.club/delete, or by emailing [email protected].

6.2 Privacy rights

Depending on where you live, including California, Texas, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Oregon, and other U.S. states, and the EEA and UK, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy in a portable format;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • delete your personal information;
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, and certain profiling (we do not do these things);
  • limit or withdraw consent for the use of sensitive information. Precise geolocation is treated as sensitive information under some state laws; we process it only with your consent, given through your device’s location permission, which you can withdraw at any time; and
  • not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request.” We will verify your identity, usually by confirming control of the email address on your account, and respond within the time required by law (generally within 45 days). You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof that the agent is authorized and verify your identity directly.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject “Privacy appeal.” We will respond within 60 days. If you are not satisfied with the result, you may contact your state Attorney General.

Global Privacy Control. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of; we will nonetheless treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out request where the law requires it.

7. Children

The Services are not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to use Rallis. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or from anyone under our minimum age. If we learn that we have, we will delete it and close the account. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact [email protected].

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and short-lived authentication tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

9. International users

Rallis is based in the United States, and we process and store information in the United States. If you use the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

10. Third-party services and links

The Services may link to or work with third-party services, such as Apple and Google sign-in, map and directions apps, app stores, and court reservation websites. Their own privacy policies govern their use of your information, and we are not responsible for their practices.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. The “Last updated” date above shows when this policy was last changed.
